Who is your favorite lady detective from movies, books, or TV?

I wouldn't call her a detective so much as a bounty hunter, but I like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books.

What time of day is best? Why?

Between the hours of 10pm and 6am. Especially that time right before dawn when the sky is just starting to lighten.

Why? Because I hate the day.
